Cornwall

Kernow a’gas dynnergh (Welcome to Cornwall)

Cornwall is my home and inspiration. I have walked its cliffs and coves, climbed the backbone of its granite tors, and wandered through fragmented temperate rainforests. White hills and empty engine houses reflect an industrious people and the minerals hidden below. Venture deeper, and places whisper of myths and ancestral lives. It is clear why Cornwall has inspired writers and artists alike, myself included.

Here, the landscape unfolds into paths, inviting exploration, just as its stories and scenery have done for generations. Allow your curiosity to guide you.

A photograph viewed from the Cornish clifftop looking out to sea. It is a calm sea and a blue sky. The small cove is surrounded by high, dark cliffs banded with white quartz.
A photograph of Rough Tor, a granite-cropped hill, at sunset, on Bodmin Moor.
A long exposure photograph of a Cornish wood in autumn, with a river running through.
A photograph of a hollow way with a path leading into the distance. There is little light as it has a canopy of trees shading the route so it feels sheltered and cave-like.
Photograph inside a Cornish mine tunnel which is partly flooded.
A photo from the Montol mid-winter festival in Penzance, Cornwall, depicting a "hobby horse" - a horse skull dressed in orange and black ribbons.
